Green Tourmaline (Focus Stack Study)
Photograph by Cesar Cueva
This crystal measures barely ten millimetres high, yet within it unfolds a vast terrain of light, fracture, and form. Through a stacked sequence of micro-focus images, its surfaces are rendered in impossible clarity, every plane simultaneously present. The technique collapses scale, transforming a mineral shard into a landscape of the sublime: architecture, atmosphere, and time suspended in crystal.
Part of an ongoing BC House study into perception, material truth, and the monumental hidden within the minute.
Archival Pigment Print on 310gsm Matt Paper
Raw Solid Oak Frame (White) 965mm x 1165mm
Edition 1/5 + AP.
